I like Belle Isle
I feel as though I have not lived in Detroit long enough to pin point one place in Detroit that is single handedly my favorite. However, there are many places in the city that I enjoy visiting and spending time at. Belle Isle is one of those places. I like the outdoors, since Belle Isle is outdoors I like it by default. However, there are other aspects of Belle Isle that I enjoy besides it being outdoors. Those aspects include:
- Green space – great for playing ultimate frisbee
- Beach area and a water slide – I think most people like water slides
- Nature Zoo – the zoo has deer that you can feed and I don’t know too many people that don’t want to feed a deer
- The Conservatory - which has beautiful plants, including tons of cacti
- Numerous Picnic Areas – I like picnics
- lots of other things
You should really spend sometime there, if you haven’t already.
