Katie Temrowski

I am from Grosse Pointe, Michigan and Richmond, Virginia. I’m a sophomore at University of Michigan. I am majoring in Anthropology and Political Science with a minor in Urban studies. I am very interested in all things regarding Detroit, urban spaces, and cities in the South. I currently work at a crêperie in Detroit by the name of Good Girls Go to Paris Crepes.

This semester, I’m working with WDET. I am a huge NPR fan and I am determined to work in public radio. I am very excited to be working with the staff of WDET including my supervisor Jerome Vaughn and the staff of The Craig Fahle Show.

Fun Facts: I have done glassblowing, I am an avid record collector, I have a crepe named after me at GGGTP (G.P. Katie),  and I used to volunteer at the Detroit Institute of Arts. I also enjoy reading craigslist missed connections, exploring new places, paint by numbers, solving puzzles, fishing and bird-watching.
