Hi, I’m Lizzie! I’m a Senior from the University of Michigan studying psychology and sociology, born and raised in Dearborn, MI.
My internship is with the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD). I’m really enjoying my time here at MOCAD, my focus is on education outreach so I get to work with the public by giving tours and putting together Family Days.
The mission of the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit is to present art at the forefront of contemporary culture. As a non-collecting institution, MOCAD is responsive to the cultural content of our time, fueling crucial dialogue, collaboration, and public engagement.
If you have a chance you should come by and visit the Museum, it’s located at 4454 Woodward Avenue (on the corner of Woodward and Garfield).

Wednesday, Saturday, & Sunday: 11 – 5 pm
Thursday & Friday: 11 – 8 pm
closed Monday &Tuesday
Museum Tours
Wednesdays at 1pm
Saturday 1pm & 4 pm
Sundays at 12 pm
Tours are free and open to the public
